Coldplay will return to Australia in February but Adelaide will miss out on the tour.
The four-city tour will include multiple shows for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, plus a show in Perth.Promoters are loathe putting shows into Adelaide until the cities major venue, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, is given its overdue facelift.

Coldplay last toured Australia in June 2006 when they performed 10 sold-out shows around the country.
Tickets go on sale on December 4.
Also this week, EMI will release the new 2CD edition of Viva La Vida featuring six new songs and a new version of ‘Lost’ with Jay-Z.
