The Melbourne music community will come together of November 27 for a benefit gig for longtime industry veteran Kate Bentley, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Paul Kelly, Tex Perkins, Nick Barker, James Reyne, The Fauves, Ella & Jesse Hooper, Vika & Linda Bull, Even and Ella Thompson will play at the benefit gig at the Prince of Wales in St Kilda.Kate is a two decade veteran of the music biz. She has tour managed bands and sung as a backing singer for Daryl Braithwaite.
And if it isn’t enough to have a line-up like that on stage, there will also be an all-star cast behind the bar. AFL stars Richmond’s Matthew Richardson, Joel Bowden, Brendon Gale, Wayne Campbell, Western Bulldog’s star Robert Murphy and Ben Harrison will be pouring the beers.
