Oasis are set to jet around in style. In their own plane.
Noel Gallagher is set to fork out millions of pounds on a private jet for Oasis. He and brother Liam reportedly got the idea to buy a plane for the band after travelling around Europe and the UK in a hired one during their recent tour.
Noel even used the jet to fly home to London for one night in between the band's gigs in Aberdeen.
Writing on his blog on the band's wesbite, multi-millionaire Noel, 41,
said: "We're making serious inquiries as to how much one of these jets cost.
"We think that with a bit of creative accounting we could probably afford one. We'll christen ours The Credit Crunch. It's the only way to fly, y'know."
Private jets can cost anything between £4million for a Gulfstream or Learjet to £150million for a top-of-the-range plane.
