The bad economy is affecting even big spenders like U2.
Their plans to build the U2 Tower in Dublin have been put on hold because of Dublin's slumping property market. The tower was supposed to be Ireland's tallest building with luxury apartments and U2's recording studios at the top.
The Dublin Docklands Development Authority says it's committed to building the tower and hopes to reopen negotiations with potential developers in a year.
