A tape containing four songs written by a teenaged Bob Dylan going under the hammer next month in Dallas, Texas is expected to fetch up to $100,000.
The tapes were made under the name Bobby Zimmerman and recorded in the late 50s, before he legally changed his name to Robert Dylan. An old school friend of Dylan's, Ric Kangas, found the tapes and is now putting them up for auction at the Heritage Auction Galleries in Dallas.
The pair have not seen each other since meeting after a show Dylan performed in Memphis in 1974.
