Rev. Run, of the legendary hip hop group Run DMC, has lost his daughter shortly after her birth last week.
The rapper, real name Joseph Symmons, announced his wife Justine was pregnant on his reality TV show Run's House and viewers could follow the pregnancy as it progressed.The baby was delivered by caesarian section, but sadly had organs outside her body. The baby died a short time later.
According to celeb site tmz.com, MTV cameras were in the hospital at the time although doesn't say whether they were in the delivery room.
Symmons released his first solo album 'Distortion' last year under the name Rev Run.
