In Dublin, Elvin model Kate Moss and polar opposite Pogues singer Shane MacGowan joined Babyshambles on stage.
NME reports that during the September 26 show, MacGowan joined Pete Doherty's band for a rambunctious rendition of 'Dirty Old Town', the Ewan MacColl folk classic made famous by The Pogues on 1985's 'Rum, Sodomy & The Lash'. This isn't the first time MacGowan has performed with Babyshambles, NME noting they did the same song at the Spain's Benicassim Festival.Doherty's girlfriend, hell-raising model Kate Moss joined the band onstage for a rendition of 'La Belle et La Bete', for the second time during this tour.
NME notes that drug-casualty Doherty was loudly welcomed to the stage, and was pelted with towels, shoes, clothes, cigarettes and books (hopefully with affection). The tour has one more Irish show before continuing through the UK.
