The Sugababes have offered to perform for injured Top Gear TV host Richard Hammond after discovering Hammond is a fan of the band.
Sugababe Amelle Berrabah told The Sun in London, "Richard is a cute bloke with a great smile, of course we'd sing for him. I love Top Gear. Richard is a great presenter and Jeremy Clarkson is brilliant too."Richard Hammond is one of three hosts of Top Gear, a show on cars that if they were to put on their very own "cool wall" (a wall which says how cool certain cars are), it would no doubt be in the coolest spot up there.
While filming a segment on a rocket powered super car - which Hammond was driving - he crashed at 280 miles per hour and suffered serious brain injuries.
Reports suggest the show was in danger of being axed by the BBC, no doubt to the delight of police and safety experts, who often criticize the show for glorifying speed and dangerous driving, while insulting the authority of traffic police (which it does, that's why the show is so great!).
We wish Richard "Hamster" Hammond a speedy recovery, so he can get back to annoying the authorities and filling my Monday nights with joy.
