The Kooks have announced headline shows to go with their already announced appearance at The Falls in Lorne and Marion Bay over New Year’s Eve.
The band, who recently wowed their adoring audience will play again in Melbourne and Sydney (sorry everywhere else) in January. For those of you who don’t know The Kooks, they’re a modern day British Invasion band, championed by the likes of Ray Davies (not only did they record in his studio, but they were joined by him on stage to play the Kinks classic ‘Victoria’). They also worked in legendary producer Mickey Most’s studio ‘RAK’, which has been used by everyone from Stevie Wonder to Primal Scream.
Their second album ‘Konk’ is out now, and it’s a corker.
You can check ‘em out at:
JANUARY
5 - Hordern Pavilion, Sydney
8 - The Palace, Melbourne
Tickets are on sale Monday September 29.
