The 2008 version of the Rocky Horror Show has made its way to Melbourne after an extended residency at Sydney`s Star City.
It has been 10 years since the last production hit town.The new show features iOTA as Frank N Furter, Paul Capsis as Riff Raff and Tamsin Carroll as Magenta.
iOTA is a well known independent singer / songwriter with four albums, seven singles and six ARIA nominations to his credit. He was previously seen in Hedwig & the Angry Inch.
Paul Capsis has straddling both performing and recording. His studio album ‘Everybody Wants To Touch Me’ is out now and on screen he starred opposite Alex Dimitriades in the 1998 film Head On.
Tamsin Carroll is fast becoming one of Australia’s most respected stage actors with recent starring roles in ‘Dusty’ and ‘Shout’.
A special shoutout must also go to The Guy Who Played Derryn Hinch In Underbelly. The Guy Who Played Derryn Hinch In Underbelly is the Narrator in the show. He is also seen on stage at the end of the show wearing fishnets, although it was unclear if that was part of the show or if he had just changed to go home.
The Rocky Horror Show is now playing at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne.
