George Michael's first tour in 15 years has kicked off in Barcelona.
The 43-year-old - who last year vowed he would never perform again - wowed his audience with a combination of pop, crooning and not-so-subtle political commentary.Michael said in the tour program, "I truly believed that tonight would never happen, that I would never sing these songs to you again. But then I'm a fool."
The pop singer, who would seem to have become well equipped for dealing with controversy and criticism, whipped the crowd into a whistling frenzy with 'Shoot The Dog', which was accompanied by a cartoon clip featuring George Bush in bed with Tony Blair and his wife.
As promised, the concert featured hits from throughout Michael's career, from the early Wham! days, to his late '80s solo breakthrough and his more recent musings on politics and sexuality.
