The Pyramid Rock Festival on Phillip Island has been announced and its fifth year is its best lineup yet.
International acts include Morcheeba making a welcome return to Australia and Ohio’s favourite dirty duo The Black Keys are back again.French dance outfit Digitalism will mash your brain with their uber phat beats, monsterized with a live drummer and the Midnight Juggernauts return to Australia after a year in Europe blurring the lines between rock and dance music.
Gyroscope will hold their rightful place as the kings of the Australian festival circuit with what will undoubtedly be another blistering performance, with Karnivool and Mammal helping to look after the heavier side of things.
Other bands include Cut Copy, Fat Freddy’s Drop, The Teenagers, The Herd, Dr. Dog, Birds of Tokyo, The Getaway Plan, Little Red, Salmonella Dub, The Black Seeds, PPP a.k.a. Platinum Pied Pipers, Murph and Plutonic, Mammal, Yo! Majesty, The Galvatrons.
Tickets are on sale at 9am, Thursday September 4 and takes place over New Year’s Eve.
