RnB star Jamelia has requested her label Parlophone (also the home of Lily Allen) to produce a child-friendly "clean" version of Allen's debut album 'Alright, Still'.
Allen however, was not amused, telling MTV that children should be exposed to the harsh realities of life, not sheltered from them."Maybe she should pay to have that done herself, it's not coming out of my expenses!" she said.
Allen's album has been dubbed twee-garage and is filled with happy poppy melodies singing about crackwhores and grannies getting mugged. Her #1 single 'Smile' has the line "Everytime I see you cry, it makes me smile, yeah it makes me smile."
