Isaac Hayes Died From A Stroke

Doctors have revealed that soul legend Isaac Hayes died on the weekend from a massive stroke.

Hayes was found dead at his home in Memphis on Sunday.

Hayes had a stroke in 2006 that left his speech slurred and his body weak, but he managed to get back on stage in 2007 for a number of shows, one being at SXSW in Austin.

In a bizarre coincidence, Hayes died the day after comedian Bernie Mac, his co-star in the upcoming movie ‘Soul Men’. The project was the last for both men.

Hayes funeral will be held in Memphis next Monday.
