The Block will be the name of the upcoming New Kids On The Block comeback album.
It`s been almost 15 years since Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood and Jordan and Jonathan Knight have recorded together.The new album will feature guests on a number of songs. Ne-Yo appears in the single `Summertime`, Pussycat Dolls are there for `Grown Man`, Akon helps out on `Put It On My Tab`, `Big Girl` features Lady GaGa and New Edition perform for `Full Service`.
New Kids on the Block were one of the world`s first manufactured boy-bands. They scored a global hit in 1990 with `You Got It (The Right Stuff)` and became the highest paid entertainers of that year.
At their peak, NKOTB merchandise included lunch boxes, comic dolls and dolls.
NKOTB will begin their reunion tour in Toronto on September 18.
