Paris Hilton has taken the piss out of presidential wannabe John McCain after he dismissed Barack Obama as a Paris Hilton-style celebrity.
The squillionairess has produced her own television commercial attacking McCain for using her without permission in his campaign.“Hello America, I`m Paris Hilton and I`m a celebrity too,” she says bikini clad in her video response. “I`m not from the olden days and I`m not promising change like that other guy. I`m just hot. Then that wrinkly old guy used me in his press add which I guess means I`m running for President. So thanks for the endorsement white haired dude and I want America to know that I am totally ready to lead”.
In a rare bout of credibility that actually made sense, Paris then suggests that America accept a hybrid of Obama`s new technology policy and McCain`s offshore drilling policy and do “limited offshore drilling with strict environmental oversight, while giving tax incentives by getting Detroit making hybrid electric cars. That was the offshore drilling carries us until the new technologies kick in which will then create new jobs and energy independence”.
Paris then said she was off to pick out her Vice-President, maybe Rihanna.
McCain failed to win over the audience at the Sturgis bike-rally on the weekend fumbling his words and not making a point. Obama responded to McCain referring to him as a celebrity like Paris Hilton by saying “it`s like these guys take pride in being ignorant. They think its funny that they are making fun of something that is actually true. They need to do their homework because this is serious business. Instead of running ads about Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, they should go and talk to some energy experts and go and make a difference`.
The next US presidential election will be in November.
