There is good news for the Fleetwood family. Mick Fleetwood`s 6-year old daughter Ruby has been released from Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after a serious accident at a pool last week.
Mick’s wife Lynn has thanked doctors and says her daughter was recovered faster than expected. "The doctors at Cedars are stunned by our little fighter," Lynn said in a statement. "Based on the condition Ruby was in when she arrived at the hospital 12 days ago, none of them expected her to have come this far in such a short time. She has blown them away with her strength and her will to survive."The accident was more serious than first reported but Ruby is now walking again and getting her memory back.
Ruby and her twin sister Tessa were playing with friends at a pool in the LA suburb of Hidden Hills. Ruby was doing somersaults, became disorientated and swallowed a large amount of water. She became unconscious and had to be revived by CPR.
"We would like to thank everyone at Cedars-Sinai for their excellent care," says Mick Fleetwood. "Their wonderful bedside manner was second to none and helped us tremendously throughout this entire ordeal. We want to thank them for everything from the bottom of our hearts."
