Warner Music in the United States will release the new Oasis album `Dig Out Your Soul`.
The 7th album from Oasis was produced by Dave Sardy who also worked with the band on their last album `Don`t Believe The Truth` from 2005.Oasis recorded the album at Abbey Road studios. It was mixed in LA>
Noel Gallagher says it will be different. "I wanted to write music that had a groove, not songs that followed that traditional pattern of verse, chorus, and middle eight. I wanted a sound that was more hypnotic and driving, with songs that would draw you in; songs that you would maybe have to connect to , to feel," he said in a statement.
It is yet to be announced which label will release the Oasis album in other territories.
The first single will be the Noel Gallagher penned tune `The Shock of the Lightning`, due mid-August.
