Sir Elton John would seem to have mended his relationship with George Michael, telling talk-show legend Michael Parkinson, "we're fine".
The placating words are timed well for Michael, who commences his 25 Live comeback tour at the end of the month. It will be his first tour in 15 years.Sir Elton told Parkinson, "George and I are fine. He came and stayed down my house last year. We're fine." He went on, "I'd rather keep my mouth shut ... It's up to him what he does with his life really and I don't really want to get into that anymore."
The former Wham! vocalist penned an open letter claiming Sir Elton was no friend of his after Sir Elton claimed Michael was a miserable homebody, who was in a "strange place". Sir Elton said at the time, "He's quite happy just being at home all the time and I think that's a waste of talent".
