Uriah Heep are going to jail. The British metal band will perform a gig at the Rottenburg prison in Germany next week.
Uriah Heep`s website reports that the band will perform for 500 prisoners after being granted approval last Wednesday by the prison`s director Wolfgang Willard."Considering the number of prisoners attending this gig, this can be considered a first," he said.
The band will perform for one hour. The show has been funded by the local city administration.
Uriah Heep recently released `Wake The Sleeper`. It was the band`s first new album in 10 years.
