When it comes to The Eagles, things change daily and while a few insiders thought Joe Walsh`s Australian tour comments in a chat this week were wrong, well, maybe they are right after all.
Joe Walsh mentioned in an online chat on his website that the Eagles will be touring Australia in January. It surprised a lot of people in their company, as it hadn`t been too widely discussed. It also surprised people at the Australian end. A spokesperson within Frontier Touring, the Michael Gudinski owned touring company that handles The Eagles Australian tours, said there had not been any talk of a tour in the office.
But it looks like Mr G. and Mr A. may be negotiating.
Mr. G flew into Atlantic City this week for a meeting with Mr. A, all very sudden we know, but there could be some new developments in the Eagles touring calendar.
At the time of Mr. W`s online chat, Mr G, was yet to meet with Mr. A, but it now appears Mr. W may at least filled in on the possibility of the down under tour before Mr. G`s arrival by Mr A. or possibly Mr. H or Mr. F.
An Eagles tour will be a hot ticket in Australia after the land still has found memories of the last tour in 2004, which became `The Farewell 1` DVD.
The Eagles have been touring their new album `Long Road Out Of Eden` in the USA and have already done parts of Europe.
