Crosby, Stills & Nash will head back to the studio soon with producer Rick Rubin to record their first album in 13 years.
The last CSN album was ‘After The Storm’ from 1994.Rubin cut his teeth with rock acts like Red Hot Chili Peppers and AC/DC and then reinvented the sound of Johnny Cash. He produced the final 5 Johnny Cash albums.
He also brought Neil Diamond into the 21st century and rejuvenated his career with his last two albums. The last Diamond album ‘Home Before Dark’ was Neil’s first number one album in America.
It is hard to put a time-line of the Rubin CSN work. A few weeks ago, it was announced that he would be producing the new ZZ Top album.
The CSN album will be an album of covers.
