Bjorn Ulvaeus from Abba has sparked stories of a failing memory after he confirmed that he cannot remember performing `Waterloo` on the Eurovision Song Contest.
Abba`s 1974 performance won the Eurovision Song Contest that year and launched the group into pop superstardom.Ulvaeus told the Daily Mirror that he has no recollection of it ever taking place. He says he doesn`t remember standing on stage and said, “people ask me if I am going to write my memoirs but, even if I wanted to, I would not be able”.
Bjorn says he looks at old footage and photographs to try and revive his memory.
Abba is in yet another revival with thanks to the movie `Mamma Mia`. The show, based on the stage musical, features the songs of Abba.
