Metallica To Release Death Magnetic Guitar Hero Version

Metallica`s new album `Death Magnetic` will be made available via Guitar Hero III on its day of release.

The concept is unprecedented for a new release. It is the first time Activision has partnered with an act to release an album on the Guitar Hero platform.

`Death Magnetic` for Guitar Hero will be available for download and in store on the same day the album is released to music stores.

`Death Magnetic` is the 9th Metallica album and their first in 5 years since `St. Anger`.
