Timbaland’s first Australan tour seems to be hitting a bit of a brick wall with revelations that his Melbourne and Auckland dates clash with shows in Poland and Finland.
According to Finnish promotions company RHS Promotions, Timbaland is performing at the Coke Live Festival in Krakow, Poland on August 22 and in Lahti in Finland on August 23.These dates clash with his Melbourne and Auckland dates respectively.
The RHS Promotions website states “Confusion about a "double booking" circulated throughout Finnish media, with information of an Australian and New Zealand tour during the same time as Timbaland's European Tour.
“However, it is now confirmed by Timbaland's management that they will be doing the European shows and not the Australian Tour.”
On the contrary, Petrina Convey from Xposed Media, the publicist for the tour told Undercover “At this point in time, as far as we know the Australian tour is still happening.”
She added, “The promoters have been trying to get in contact with Timbaland’s management for the last 48 hours.”
At the moment it appears as though Timbaland has no other dates scheduled anywhere in the world.
