Austin guitarist Monte Montgomery will be the next guest on Daryl Hall’s ‘Live From Daryl’s House’.
Hall plays host to special guests from his various houses and broadcasts them via his online show livefromdarylshouse.comHall discovered Montgomery on YouTube. “Someone sent me a clip of Monte performing ‘Sara Smile’ on YouTube,” he says. “And I immediately asked him to come on the show to play it with me.”
Montgomery was named one of Guitar Player magazines ‘Top 50 Guitarists of All Time’ in 2004. He has been called ‘The Evil Knievel of Guitar’.
The Monte episode will be broadcast from the site from July 15.
Previous guests on Live From Daryl’s House include KT Tunstall, Nick Lowe and Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes.
