Despite issuing a press release saying she is not romantically linked with New York Yankees baseball star Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez, her friendship with the baseball star appeared to be enough to end his marriage to wife Cynthia.
The dreaded “friends” have been talking to the papers again, with one “friend” telling New York Daily News, “This all started with Kaballah. Alex told Cynthia that he'd discovered that he'd been looking for his soul mate. And now, he said, he'd found her.”A lawyer for Mrs. Rodriguez said A-Rod’s relationship with the material girl "the straw that broke the camel's back".
Madonna’s official statement earlier this week read, “My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study.”
It is believed, just to make matters more complicated, that Mrs. Rodriguez went to stay in Lenny Kravitz’s Paris mansion to get away from the media frenzy, although Kravitz denies any involvement.
