The Popkomm Festival is on once again in Berlin in October and the first showcase acts have been officially announced.
Popkomm 2008 will play host to Fixmer/McCarthy, Mesh, Sono, Solar Fake, Santa Hates You and Akanoid will all be appearing at the venue known as the Kesselhaus, at the Kulturbrauerei.Over 400 acts from 35 countries will showcase at Popkomm this year.
"This evening will offer a fascinating overview of all the different forms available within the electro genre", says Eric Burton of Hardbeat Promotion, "and Popkomm is the ideal platform for acquainting a wider audience with bands which, in some cases, are already very prominent within their own scene."
Popkomm is on from October 8 to 11 in Berlin, Germany.
