Composers Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard will perform together for the very first time when they team up for the premiere of the new Batman movie 'The Dark Knight'.
Zimmer and Newton Howard created the soundtrack for the movie.They will perform their piece at the world premiere of 'The Dark Knight' in New York on July 14, just prior to the film being shown.
Zimmer and Newton Howard also composed and recorded the soundtrack to the previous Batman movie 'Batman Begins'.
The soundtrack for the movie will be released through Warner Music.
The movie will open in the USA on July 18.
The Dark Knight is the final movie for Aussie actor Heath Ledger, who died in January.
