Sixx:AM, the other band of Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx, is about to go out on their first tour.
Nikki Sixx will perform a double act with Sixx:AM and Motley Crue when he takes Sixx:AM on tour with Crue Fest.The band was formed by Sixx to create a soundtrack for his bestseller 'The Heroin Diaries: A Year In The Life of a Shattered Rock Star'.
The band features James Michael and DJ Ashba. "James, DJ and I never had plans to take Sixx:A.M. on the road. But 'Life Is Beautiful' hit the top of the charts at rock radio and the fans kept asking for a tour. At that point, you just say F*ck it. Let's hit the road," says Nikki Sixx in a statement.
Crue Fest kicked off this week in West Palm Beach, Florida and will be on the road until the end of August.
The tour also features Buckcherry, Papa Roach and Trapt.
