Musexpo, the Hollywood based annual music conference, will expand to have a European event this year.
British born, California based founder Sat Bisla said in a statement, "We are very excited to honor the many requests from key influencers in the UK and across Europe to bring MUSEXPO from West Hollywood to this year's selected city of London. MUSEXPO Europe will retain the high quality, focus and ethos the world has come to expect from the annual international MUSEXPO in the US. The caliber of attendees at MUSEXPO Europe will be a great opportunity for the UK market to interface with those who shape the global music, media, technology and entertainment market worldwide, many of whom typically don't attend conference events in the UK or Europe. We are also very pleased to be working with our showcase partner The Great Escape, who have built a strong reputation for the great live events they host. In addition, we are delighted to welcome the highly regarded industry insider Ajax Scott to the MUSEXPO Europe team."Musexpo has been a valuable promotional showcase for bands from all over the world. Australia's Skybombers showcased at the LA event this year. Pete Murray and Missy Higgins have played Musexpo LA showcases as well in recent years.
Musexpo will take place in London at the Cumberland Hotel from October 27-29, 2008.
