Reports that pop superstar Madonna has hired a lawyer to deal with her rumored divorce from husband Guy Ritchie have received a "no comment" response from her representative.
A story in the reputable Times of London newspaper states that the Material Girl has sought legal representation from top lawyer Fiona Shackleton, who handled Paul McCartney's divorce from Heather Mills.When contacted about the report, Madonna's rep told Access Hollywood, "No comment at this time."
Madonna is worth an estimated US$590 million, and the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, according to The Times.
When contacted by Hollywood Access, a rep for Shackleton said, "We have a policy of not speaking with the press."
