70's Aussie glam-rock band Taste is back and performing.
The Countdown regulars will perform a one-off show tomorrow night (Friday, June 27) at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne for the launch of 'Rock Is Dead', their first album in 30 years.The current line-up features original members Ken Murdoch on vocals, Michael Tortoni on bass, Joey Amenta on guitar along with 22-year old Joel Wittenberg on drums, replacing Virgil Donati.
Taste had two albums in the 70s. They were 'Tickle Your Fancy' in 1976 and 'Knights Of Love' in 1977.
They were best known for the hits 'Tickle Your Fancy' and 'Boys Will Be Boys'.
The band is planning a full-on tour. Dates will be announced soon.
