Is George Michael about to go on the pension? The title of his current UK tour is making pundits suggest that this might just be it for George.
Michael has anointed his two last London shows 'The Final Two'. When Wham broke-up, they went out on a show named 'The Final'.The similarity has had speculators suggesting that George may just be about to announce his retirement.
George Michael will conclude his tour at Earls Court in London on August 24 and 25.
The tour started 20 months ago. He has played 79 dates on the 25 Live Tour and 25 Live Stadium Tour. The tour was his first in 15 years.
The final shows will be filmed for a DVD.
Will they be his last? We doubt it. His official press release says the name of the tour is simply "is a nod to his sell out Wembley Stadium show, 'THE FINAL' with Andrew Ridgeley in 1986 when he brought the curtain down on Wham!"
The official release makes no suggestion of a retirement.
