The Police reunion is coming to an end. Their final show will be at New York's Madison Square Garden.
The last ever show from The Police will be a benefit show to raise funds for New York Public Television."We are honored to partner with public television and have a deep respect for their commitment to arts and culture," said The Police at a May 6th press conference.
The band also announced their own pledge to the city of $1 million towards the Mayor's MillionTrees initiative to plant 10,000 new trees and help reforest 2,000 acres of New York City.
To raise the money, a number of special souvenir options are in play for the show. For $5000, you can go to the sound-check and attend a dinner prior to special seating at the show.
For $2000, you will receive prime seating and a pre-show reception.
The remainder of the tickets are $750, $500, $350 and $150.
The support act for the show will be B52's.
The last ever Police show will take place at Madison Square Garden on August 7.
