Nick Oliveri is bringing his band The Mondo Generator to Australia for the first time in August, and he promises to tear you a new a-hole.
The Mondo Generator was originally formed as a side project with Oliveri's former Kyuss band mates Josh Homme and Brant Bjork, but since Oliveri's departure from Queens of the Stoneage in 2004, it has become his focus."Mondo Generator is not a side-project anymore," Oliveri said in a statement, "I used to do Mondo every now and then on spare time and now it's my first choice. All other bands I play in have become my side-project, so in other words my mistress has now become my wife."
The band's third album 'Dead Planet' is available now in Australia. Go to your local independent record store and get it!
THEN, check them out at
