Devo have finally announced full dates for their first Australian tour in eleven years and we here at Undercover are excited.
The band were last year headlining the Livid Festival in Brisbane in 1997, and it was their only Australian show. This time the band will return to play the whole country, stopping off in Byron Bay to educate the kids on the history of De-evolution.
Devo formed in Arkon, OH in 1972 and went on to push punk in a totally unique direction. Early tunes like 'Mongoloid' and 'Jocko Homo' were later refined into pure pop gold with early 80s tracks 'That's Good' and of course their juggernaut single 'Whip It'.
