Sex Pistols front man John Lydon, a.k.a. Johnny Rotten, has said he would like to write a song for Britney Spears.
"I haven't written a song for Britney yet but I would love to. I'd like to help out because there's a girl who needs some help. She's been hurt. And hurt is the root core essence of good music," he said to The Sun in England.Lydon and Spears could be quite a collaboration with a juxtaposition that would no doubt make Andy Warhol proud.
In a more realistic world, you're more likely to see the new Sex Pistols DVD, which is due out at the end of June.
The DVD was filmed during the band's stint at London's Brixton Academy last year and features 'Anarchy in the U.K.', 'EMI', 'Pretty Vacant', 'God Save The Queen' and more.
