EMI Picks Up The Datsuns

The Datsuns third album 'Smoke & Mirrors' will be released through EMI Records.

The album was produced by the band with engineer Nick Abbott and mixer Cenzo Townshend.

The last Datsuns album was 'Outta Sight Outta Mind' in 2004, produced by Led Zeppelins John Paul Jones. The new album is being described by guitarist Christian as Led Zeppelin meets The Who.

The Datsuns spent most of 2005 writing for the record and entered the studio with 40 potential songs which were cut down to 10 for the finished album.

The record will include the 8 minute epic 'Too Little Fire'.

'Smoke & Mirrors' will be released on October 14.
