Amy Winehouse has been interviewed by Police at an East London police station.
The Guardian reports that the singer has been interviewed in conjunction with some damning footage shot of Winehouse where she appears to be smoking crack cocaine.A spokesperson for the singer said in a statement, "Amy Winehouse voluntarily attended a London police station today by appointment. She was arrested in order to be interviewed and is cooperating fully with inquiries. The interview relates to a video handed to police earlier this year."
Fans of Winehouse who were looking forward to hearing new output from the singer on the new James Bond movie Quantum of Solace might have to wait a little longer.
Producer Mark Ronson told Sky News, "We did work on it, we never finished it, so that's about it, that's where it got left."
He said it would be a "miracle of science" if "someone" sings a vocal on it.
He later added, "We tried to work for a little bit, but I'm not sure she's ready to work on music yet."
However, Amy's people claim the project was dropped purely because of artistic differences.
In the meantime, you can listen to the shiny glossed over versions of Winehouse that have popped up around the traps.
