P. Diddy is set to spend £2 million on a party to celebrate him getting a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
The hip-hop star is throwing an over-the-top bash on Friday night (02.05.08) and has employed a team of 20 staff dedicated to the 'Operation Harlem to Hollywood Party'.A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: 'It's a huge honour for P. Diddy to be recognised in Hollywood. He came from Harlem and on Friday the creme de la creme of Hollywood will salute him.'
Guests at the party will include Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Pharrell Williams, Eva Longoria and David and Victoria Beckham. Los Angeles Galaxy soccer star Beckham will pre-record a message for the bash, saying: 'Well done mate, you earned it - enjoy!' Jamie Foxx will also give a tear-jerking toast in Diddy's honour.
Partygoers will be treated to £200,000 worth of vodka and champagne, flown to the Beverly Hills venue by private jet, will receive a £200 goodie bag and will dine on a delicious seafood and grilled meat banquet.
Diddy - real name Sean Combs - will also don five different custom made outfits. Speaking about his honour, Diddy said: 'You can get a lot of things but when you see those stars on the ground... well that's something I can't even say I dreamed of.'
