Hardcore gangsta rapper 50 Cent is hoping to work with flamboyant pianist Elton John, according to reports today.
Cent was due to perform with John shortly after Eminem - the man responsible for discovering 50 - performed with him at the 2001 Grammy awards."Elton has incredible talent. He was meant to come out and record some stuff with me but it didn't happy.", Cent said, according to Lifestyle Entertainment. We assume he actually said "it didn't happen," and that's just a typo.
It might be a good time for such a collaboration to happen, after John told Rolling Stone, "I want to work with Pharrell, Timbaland, Snoop Dogg, Kanye and Eminem and see what happens. It may be a disaster, it may be fantastic but you don't know until you try."
He um... didn't mention Fiddy.
