Prince threw a few surprise covers into his Coachella ste on Saturday night. The purple one covered songs by Radiohead, Sarah McLachlan and the Beatles.
By all accounts, Prince's Saturday night headline show was a Coachella highlight. He performed Radiohead's 'Creep', 'Sarah McLachlan's 'Angel' and The Beatles 'Come Together'.Despite threatening some years ago to refuse to never to perform his signature tune 'Purple Rain' ever again, Prince rolled it out for the Coachella crowd.
In fact, there were numerous hits in the set. Performing '1999', 'Little Red Corvette', 'Cream', 'Let's Go Crazy' and 'Controversy' made the show sound like a greatest hits set.
