Motley Crue will release their new single 'Saints of Los Angeles' through a game. The single was made available today through Rock Band.
Crue fans can grab the track from Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Store.It is the first time that a major band has bypassed the major labels and released a song via gaming companies.
'Saints of Los Angeles' is the title-track from the forthcoming Motley Crue album, their first with all original band members in more than a decade.
Motley Crue also today announced a US tour. Crue Fest '08 will also feature Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Trapt and Sixx:AM.
The 40 city tour will feature a stage where fans will have the chance to play Rock Band as a guitarist, bass player, drummer or singer. A local winner will be announced at each show.
