Portishead's third album 'Third' may have taken a decade to come about, but that's only because the band were too happy.
Geoff Barrow told the London Metro, "Our albums are born out of frustration, whether it be Bristol city council, frustration with human's lack of ability to communicate with each other or whether you've heard some really shit song and it drives you to write a better one. They're not born in a comfortable place"The album has been a long time coming, with rumours occasionally surfacing at different times over the past decade as to its progress, but the follow up to 1997's self titled album 'Third' is finally due out on the 28th of April.
