Well, it's unconfirmed and unofficial, but an early leak of Devo tour dates through their MySpace page has the band touring around Australia in July/August.
The dates were quickly removed, and replaced by a MySpace bulleting entitled "International Devo dates will be re-announced soon".The message said, "Sorry, Spuds - We jumped the gun on some of the International DEVO live dates. BUT DON'T WORRY! Booji Boy will deliver new papers to be signed by General Boy, and then we'll be able to re-announce more International dates. Stay tuned, Spuds!"
The tour is expected to head to Melbourne, Sydney, Byron Bay, Adelaide and Perth and the tour will take place around the already announced dates for Splendour in the Grass.
The last time the band was in Australia they headlined the Livid Festival in Brisbane in 1997. It was their only Australian show. This tour will not stop in Brisbane.
Splendour in the Grass organizers have not confirmed any act for the festival, and will not announce anyone until the end of April.
