Robert Randolph has recruited his mentor and close friend Eric Clapton for a cover of The Byrds 'Jesus Is Just Alright With Me' for his next album.
'Colorblind', due in October, will be Randolph's follow-up to his 2003 release 'Unclassified'.The album will also feature singer Leela James on the song 'Stronger', written by Faith Hill/Kenny Chesney songwriter Steve McEwan.
Dave Matthews contributes to the song 'Love Is The Only Way'.
Randolph's band includes his cousins Danyel Morgan on bass and Marcus Randolph on drums.
