REO Speedwagon singer Kevin Cronin has made a $350,000 donation to the MusiCares charity following his 'Don't Forget The Lyrics' win.
Kevin starred in the Fox television game show that aired last Thursday, March 27.Following the broadcast of the show, Kevin announced that his winnings were to be handed over to MusiCares, the charity organization established by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in 1989 to help people in the music industry suffering from financial, personal or medical crisis.
REO Speedwagon had one of the biggest selling albums of all-time in the USA with 'Hi Infidelity'. It featured the hits 'Keep On Loving You' and 'Take It On The Run'.
The Cronin penned Speedwagon song 'Can't Fight This Feeling' is also gracing the soundtrack of the current movie hit 'Horton Hears A Who'.
REO Speedwagon is currently on tour across the USA with Def Leppard and Styx.
