Fall Out Boy's attempt at a world record tour where they planned to play on every continent has been scrapped because of bad weather in the Antarctic.
This week, the band planned on heading to Antarctica from Chile where they were to be met by people from Greenpeace.Guinness Book of records editor Craig Glenday was to accompany the band to mark the occasion of the new world record.
The band were first told that the record attempt was looking unlikely on Wednesday and by Friday the mission was called off.
Instead of heading into fame in the Guinness Book of Records, the band members have left Chile and flown home.
