Kasey Chambers is about to release her first full-length album with husband Shane Nicholson.
Chambers and Nicholson have completed work on 'Rattlin' Bones' with Shane also handling production duties with Kasey's brother Nash Chambers.The album marks the first time the couple had actually written together. Shane, a successful singer/songwriter in his own rite had a number of albums through Warner Music.
"Co-writing was something I had always wanted to do but I never felt comfortable with until now," Kasey explains. "But with this, there's no pressure, there's no 'We've booked this day, we have to finish something!'".
"Writing was a product of our environment, something that happened in and around our daily lives. And something that getting to know the Chambers family has shown me is a beautiful way to make music," Shane added.
The album was recorded a Jimmy Barnes studio in Sydney.
'Rattlin' Bones' will be released by Liberation Records on April 19.
